And yes.. I'm Back

Hello Unknown World......
It has been a rough couple of months but I cannot really complain. I've decided to take on a new approach towards life. I've stopped complaining. I have started to enjoy the little things that actually make life worth living. A smile from a loved one or even a total stranger, a good friend, your own family etc. They are perfectly sufficient for me to thank god for the blessings that I've been showered with.

I have made a promise to myself that I will continue writing and filling up the blog with all sorts of jargon. :D yep... That's definitely a promise. I do not exactly know what I will write about but whatever comes into my thick head, I will. I have also started writing a book. I know it's a bit unbelievable for someone like me, but I have always wanted to and I think I have been inspired by a certain someone. Well he doesn't even know that I exist but all I can say right now is that I have been shown the way.

Ciao till I write again.

I was on a visit to my mom's ancestral home when i came across this tree. This was somewhere around last year. I was just drawn towards it.

INVICTUS
William Ernest Henley (1849–1903)
OUT of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

I love this poem. Some people don't get it and I don't know why. I first came across this about 12 years ago while studying Speech and Drama. Then it was just a poem that i had to learn. Again i heard a beautiful narration of it about a year ago by Chad Michael Murray (Lucas Scott) on One Tree Hill. Then the deepness of it hit me.
